Scone Kits hit the market

After months of mixing, rolling, baking and tasting (our favourite part) in the NPD kitchen at The Bakery, we’re finally ready for our Home Baking Kits to hit the market.

These kits were the brainchild of our Lead Product Developer Jacqui Jackson, who noticed a gap in the market for a scone mix that was simple, easy and required no additional ingredients added apart from a splash of water.

Jacqui said of the new product: “Scones are notoriously tricky to get right for home bakers. We wanted to create a home baking kit that was totally foolproof, has everything you need included, and most importantly creates beautifully buttery, light and delicious scones.”

Unique in the market, each kit contains three scone mix sachets (to make 3 batches of 13 scones), a scone cutter, two tea bags and our super simple 8-step Baking Guide. Also included is a sachet each of chocolate chips, sultanas and caramel chunks, which lets the baker customise their batch whether they’re baking for birthdays, Easter, Christmas or as a treat for Mother’s Day.
