Employee Spotlight

We’re immensely proud of our employees, to which we owe the success of the business. Our customers don’t often get to see many of our employees who work in the core of the bakery to pick, pack and produce the products that are enjoyed by customers every day, so we’ve decided to regularly post an ’employee spotlight’! Here we’d like to introduce Laurian.

Laurian is one of our Oven Leaders here in the bakery and has been with us for around 7 years. He’s originally from Romania where he worked as a coal miner, a job he says he doesn’t miss much at all (he tells us he even got trapped down the pit twice!).

Laurian makes sure that products are baked to perfection and that the oven is running smoothly. He first joined us as an agency worker and was then made permanent, working his way up to his current position and also getting trained as a first aider and fire marshall along the way.
